The summer league has finished and Brampton came a very respectable 5th place in Division 3, close behind Eden Lawn D who beat us by one rubber.
WHS have been successful in obtaining funding to replace the old worn-out astro turf and to facilitate this the courts will close on 6 July for approximately 8 weeks.
In the interim the Club has arranged for members to play at Eden Lawn on a Sunday morning 10.30am - 12.30pm and to join in with Chatsworth Tennis Club's club nights on a Wednesday evening at 6.30pm. For transport sharing please meet at the MootHall at 10.00am on Sundays and 6.00pm on Wednesdays.
Our first played League match took place on the 9th May at home to Dalston D. Everyone enjoyed their games and due to the team playing well we Won 6-2, making for a great start to the season.
Our first League match in the season (Away to Chatsworth D, see the League Matches page for a full fixtures list) had to be postponed due to bad weather, so it will be rearranged for later in the season. Information on this will be sent out in an Email, Posted on this Website and also on our Facebook Page. Alternatively, you could speak to Trevor at the courts.
Sadly our Monday night Coaching has had to be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances leaving us without a coach. We are working on this and hope to see coaching return to Brampton in the future.
The New Season returns on Sunday 31st March 2019 (see the homepage for daysa and times) with Coaching returning on Monday nights from 29th April 2019 (See coaching page for details)
